All I want for Christmas is this nude liquid lip | BLOGMAS

Welcome to Blogmas day 11!

So I have literally never been happy with a nude-coloured liquid lipstick, I always find that the lighter the shade as the colour dries it shows way more cracks and any imperfections on the lips than if the shade were darker. This was until I tried one of the NYX liquid lipsticks from the Lingerie range from my Lippie Countdown Advent Calendar (read all about what I’ve got so far here).

This was from Day 4 of my calendar and I have fallen in love with it! The shade is ‘Push Up‘ and it is the perfect ‘my lips but better’ pinky-nude shade. I’ve actually noticed on some people (and on my swatch) this shade appears much darker than when I applied it to my lips, more of a dark-nude MAC Velvet Teddy vibe, whereas on myself I get more of a MAC Brave vibe so I guess the exact colour depends on your own lip colour.

The formula is an absolute dream, it goes on very silky and velvety making it easy to apply and it is perfect for on-the-go application unlike other liquid lipsticks I’ve tried that require a whole lot of effort, lip lining and touch ups!

The lipstick lasted for around two hours before needing re-applying and although the formula isn’t too drying, once I was hitting the two hour mark my lips were beginning to look a little cakey and dry.

I’d definitely recommend this lipstick for anyone who is looking for an affordable nude liquid lip and I’ll certainly be purchasing the full size product once I’ve ran out of my mini!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, I will be reviewing some more of the lipsticks I receive from my advent calendar throughout Blogmas!

Thanks for reading,
