Welcome to Blogmas Day 4!
So, I’m going to be honest here, I’m a sucker for a make-up wipe. These days people go on as if taking your make-up off with wipes is a crime against humanity, but they’ve always worked for me as I never have any particular issues with my skin. I tend to dip in and out of routines with various different products but I always go back to my easy wipes. The key word there being easy.
However, in Winter I can’t afford to be too lazy with my skincare as my skin can be a little more problematic in the colder months. My skin gets much drier and let me tell you, foundation and dry skin do not go well! You end up with patches here there and everywhere, so here’s what I’ve been loving recently, and why it’s became a routine that maybe just maybe I can actually stick to!
The L’Oreal Fine Flowers range for dry and sensitive skin is an absolute dream. Firstly can I just say… that packaging 😍! I know they say not to judge a book by its cover (or a toner by its label) but it’s baby pink… how can I not?
The whole range is made with “a delicate blend of fine flowers”. Rose, which is known for its soothing and comforting properties, and jasmine renowned for its protecting and moisturising properties.
rt off with milk, the best part about this is you literally apply to a cotton pad and remove your make up (ITS AS EASY AS A MAKE-UP WIPE… no water required!!!). The milk "removes make up, cleanses and nourishes your skin".
n use the toner, again with a cotton pad, this "removes impurities, invigorates and smooths" it ensures all your make up is totally off your face and your pores are free from any dirt.
ly, the only part that requires a little more effort, is the gel-cream wash, this "cleanses, purified and softens", you apply this in circular motions and remove with water… simple, you're all done!
Honestly since using this my face has felt baby soft and the smell is soooooo gorgeous and gentle (can I describe a smell as gentle? Hmm) it's the perfect way to get you ready for bed!
Finally, I find with a lot of skincare you end up paying a mini fortune, another reason wipes can often just be the easiest way to go, but these products are very well priced and affordable, you can get the whole lot for £16!
Let me know if you've tried this, or if you've found an affordable and easy skincare product you love!
