Happy Valentines day! <3
So, I am obsessed with pink eyeshadows lately and thought Valentines Day would be the perfect excuse to do a full post on my fave look using pink and orange toned colours!
This is the look I’ve been loving atm and I think it would be perfect to recreate for any Valentines celebrations you may be having, so whether you’re going out with your partner or you’re hanging with your single gals this would be the perfect V – Day make up look! (You don’t have to be in a relationship to glam up tonight!)
The majority of the red and pink tones from this look comes from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, you can read my full review on this palette here! I use Raw Sienna as a transition colour, and a mix of Red Ochre, Venetian Red and Love Letter (how fitting!) in the crease blending towards the centre.
I then add this Max Factor Excess Shimmer to the lid and blend with the reds. (This is sooooo amazing for a drug store product btw!)
Then using my Morphe 35Os I take the sparkly burnt orange colour in the bottom right corner to add some shimmer in with the matte products in the crease!
I think this look is perfect teamed with winged liner, I don’t know about anyone else but for me I just never feel like my make up looks complete without liquid liner!
(Ignore my sleepy eyes and grown out brows) But to finish off this eye look I like to add some of the pink used in my crease to below my bottom lash line to tie it all together!
An alternate to these palettes would be the Naked 3, although I didn’t use it for this look, the palette would be perfect for a Valentines Day inspired make-up look! (Just look at those colours ahhhhh <3 )
And finally… it would be wrong not to have a pink lip tonight! This is Mehr by Mac which is my faveeeee lipstick at the moment (it is very drying though as it’s a matte shade so I often add lots of lip balm before applying to make it slightly glossy and less drying!)
I hope you liked this post, it’s mine and my boyfriends second V-day but we’ve decided to stay in and attempt to cook! Let me know in the comments what you’re doing tonight, are you celebrating Valentines Day?
Thanks for reading,
