High End Cleanser First Impression!

So I thought seeing as I’ve only ever wrote one skincare post I’d write another littlen 🙂

On my last trip to Boots for a new Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation the lovely lady behind the counter gave me a handful of Estee Lauder’s Perfectly Clean Multi-Action cleanser samples, sold for £22.50 per 150ml bottle.

This Cleanser can be used as a foam cleanser or a purifying mask depending on the way it is applied and the sample I was given was for normal/combination skin which is perfect for my skin type.

I’ve been using Simple products for my skincare for a while now, which you can read about here and I am very happy with the routine I have, therefore I would have never bought this product on a whim. But I was more than happy to give the sample a go 🙂

On first impression the cleanser was very strongly scented, almost as if I was applying perfume to my face, I don’t mind fragranced products but if this is something that bothers you I would definitely steer clear!

I decided to use the product as a mask (I will insert a lil video of how I did it below) and it went on like a dream.

A lot of foam products tend to need a lot of scrubbing before they actually become… foamy, but this one didn’t need much work at all. Once applied to my face I left it for three minutes before rinsing with warm water (don’t get it in your mouth it tasted horrible!!!!)

The cleanser rinsed really well and left my skin feeling as smooth as a baby’s bottom and looking really fresh and clean.

However, I’m not so sure I’d be willing to move from my less than a fiver Simple cleanser that serves me well to a £22.50 one! I don’t think I loved it that much.

You can watch my short little video below of how I applied the product! (Attractive thumbnail alert)

And let me know in the comments if you prefer high end or high street cleansers ❤

Thanks for reading/watching,
