I’m not sure about you, but my make up just doesn’t feel complete until my brows are done. Whether it be just lightly filled in with a pencil or properly gone over with a brush and brow kit it just gives that all round look.
I began filling in my eyebrows in about 2010 at the ripe young age of 14 and I have had some disasters let me tell you. If I wasn’t too embarrassed of my badly sketched in dark brows I’d insert a picture… but I am, so let’s move on.
Now, by no means am I claiming to be any kind of expert when it comes to eyebrows. In fact, quite a lot of the time they go so uneven, so dark, or so light that it ruins my whole make up and I would even go as far as saying it can ruin my whole day.
However, I would say that the quality of the products I use on my eyebrows have improved throughout the years and has helped me have fewer days where I just want to grab a razor and shave them both off!
I was always a pencil person when it came to brow products but I made the leap about a year ago and purchased Benefit Brow Zings for £24.5o. I got this in the shade ‘light’ and as you can see in the images up there it’s had a lot of love.
The kit comes with a wax and a powder, two mini brushes and a mini set of tweezers and I can honestly say I’ve used this product more or less every day for almost a year and I feel like the thing is just never going to run out!
Although the kit does come with some brushes, I like to use my own Ardell Duo Brow Brush which I purchased on amazon for little over £4 and I think does the trick perfectly!
After a while of using Brow Zings I was bored and became increasingly curious about a brand I’d been hearing a lot about, Anastasia Beverly Hills. In particular their Dipbrow Pomade .
For some reason, I was under the impression that the brand was very high end and pricey. Though much to my pleasure, after looking on Cult Beauty I discovered Dipbrow Pomade was only £15! Much cheaper than my trusty Brow Zings.
I purchased the product in the shade ‘blonde’ however I was a little apprehensive as it looked slightly darker than the Benefit product I was used to. Thankfully, after a little play around with how much to apply, I fell in love with the product.
Everything from the colour to the texture is so gorgeous and really helps to create that naturally full brow look that most girls aim for!
